Computer Engineering Major

About our program

Get directly admitted to our College of Engineering and start engineering from your first day of classes. You’ll get lots of hands-on experience here — in class, state-of-the-art labs, internships and co-ops, research, design competitions, club activities and more.

You’ll learn to design and build the hardware and software systems that power the global marketplace, covering essential areas such as software engineering, hardware engineering, computer applications and intelligent systems. With a major in computer engineering, you’ll be prepared for a career in software and hardware design and engineering; computer systems design and development; product sales and management; or graduate school.

And because everything we do is grounded in ethics and values, you’ll be empowered to make a significant positive change in both the tech world — and the world as a whole.
