How do I get assigned a registration time?
Registration times for undergraduate continuing and new transfer students are assigned by total number of credits earned (MU credit + transfer credit + test credit, e.g. AP, IB) when registration times are assigned for an upcoming semester. Those with the most credits earned begin registration first and those with the fewest credits earned begin registration last. When there is a group of students with the same number of credits earned, the registation times are assigned randomly within that group. By virtue of using the credits earned, we are in essence using the of the students, because these levels are dependent on total credits earned; however, this process allows the system to assign the earliest times to those seniors who are nearing the completion of their degree.
Likewise, all health sciences, graduate school of management and law students are assigned their registration times by total credits earned on their current academic level; and, as with the undergraduate population, when their is a group of students with the same number of credits earned, the times are assigned randomly within that group.
All students in the School of Dentistry and Graduate School begin registration at the same time.

Follow this link for details on how to navigate in the CheckMarq Student Home.
Step 2: My Registration Begins
Click or tap the My Registration Begins link on the left navigation menu. If you have a registration time for an upcoming term, it will be listed here.
Please note that it is not possible for a student to register through CheckMarq before the assigned date and time.
Registration times for the upcoming semester are displayed starting approximately one month before registration opens according to the Academic Calendar. If it is after that time frame and you do not see a registration date and time listed under My Registration Begins, contact Marquette Central.
Be sure to check in advance for any holds that could delay your registration.
You are encouraged to register online without delay as soon as your registration time begins. Accurate enrollments will enable the departments to make careful adjustments to the Schedule of Classes to the advantage of students.
Summer Registration
Registration for summer term is not tiered by class level. All eligible students can begin registering via CheckMarq at the same time. For more information, visit the Summer Studies website.
Withdrawal from courses
After the add/swap/drop deadline for each session, you may not add, drop or change your courses via CheckMarq. All courses on your schedule become part of your permanent record and are subject to tuition payment even if you did not attend the classes.
However, you may request to withdraw from a course until the withdrawal deadline listed on the academic calendar. When you withdraw from a course, it remains in your permanent record with a W letter grade.
Use the academic calendar to track enrollment deadlines.
