  • To protect your personal computer from malware and other threats, IT Services recommends using the security software built-in to your computer's operating system.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF YOUR COMPUTER AND DEVICES

Prevent unauthorized use of your computer. Don't risk exposing your email, class registration, grades, salary/wages, sensitive data and other important information.

What can I do about it?

  • Keep an eye on your computer and logout.

    Do not leave your computer unattended. Guard access to your computer by keeping it in a locked room or buy a lock to keep your computer from walking away. Always logout before leaving a lab/library computer.

  • Use " strong" passwords.

    Don't share your password.
