History: The Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament for Indians and Colored People (Archives: Wynnewood, Pennsylvania) founded and have administered St. Michael Indian School (Acoma [Keresan], Navajo, Laguna [Keresan]) (pre-Kindergarten-12th grade), St. Michaels, Arizona, in the Navajo Nation, and in the Diocese of Gallup (Archives: Gallup, New Mexico).
