History: The Capuchins, a Franciscan branch founded, 1520, self-identify with the post-nominal initials, 鈥淥.F.M. Cap.鈥 Our Lady of Angels Province succeeded the Irish Province in California.

1893-1969

Capuchins (Irish Province) (Archives: Dublin, Ireland) administered St. Mary of the Angels Church, Ukiah, California, from which Capuchins attended to Pomo Indians in Mendocino County

1979-present

Capuchins (Our Lady of Angels Province) administered Santa In茅s Mission (Chumash), Solvang, Santa Barbara County
