History: Founded in San Francisco, 1872, the Sisters of the Holy Family of Mission San Jos茅 District self-identify with the post-nominal initials, 鈥淪.H.F.鈥 They taught and evangelized Native American (e.g. Navajo, Paiute, Washo) students at the following school and parish:
