History: History: Saint John Baptist de la Salle (1651-1719) founded the Christian Brothers (a.k.a. Brothers of the Christian Schools) in France, 1680, who self-identify with the post-nominal initials, 鈥淔.S.C.鈥 They established the San Francisco Province, 1868, and have taught Native American students at the following schools:
