Biographical Note: Robert E. Fitzgerald received his M.D. from Marquette in 1912. While at Marquette, he played second base on the collegiate baseball team and was a shortstop for the Aurora Islanders and Aurora Blues in the Wisconsin-Illinois League, a Class D and later a Class C baseball league.

Scope and Content: The scrapbook contains clippings about ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and Wisconsin-Illinois League baseball games as well as a limited number of photographs of Marquette and Wisconsin-Illinois League teams and events, and photographs from a visit to Niagara Falls, ca. 1909-1911. Teams pictured include the Freeport Pretzels, Aurora Islanders, Aurora Blues, and Rockford Wolverines.
