Research Interests

My research interests have centered on health care leadership topics including leadership behaviors, the design of work for registered nurses, the culture of nursing units, and registered nurses job satisfaction and retention. Working in educational administrative positions for over 10 years of my career, I also became interested in creative curriculum designs, high quality educational methods such as simulation learning, and student spirituality and its role in patient centered care.
