Clinical Assistant Professor

Brian Zamzow is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ College of Health Sciences Department of Occupational Therapy. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitative science in 2011 and went on to earn a Master of Occupational Therapy degree in 2012, both obtained from the Concordia University Wisconsin. He is currently working towards a Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctoral Degree and is enrolled at the University of Montana.

Brian has 12 years of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist with his primary focus with the adult and geriatric population dealing with client’s that have orthopedic and/or neurological conditions. He started off his career as a traveling Occupational Therapist for over 3 years and at one point held licenses within the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. After traveling, he continued to work full-time within different hospital systems including Aurora, Ascension, and Mercyhealth within the outpatient and acute care settings. Concurrently, he worked for 5 years part-time for a return-to-work program, PACE, which dealt with orthopedic and ergonomic clients within an industrial rehabilitation setting. He is now a full-time faculty member within the Occupational Therapy Department and continues to practice in an outpatient clinic 1 day a week treating clients with hand and upper extremities injuries.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys being with family and embarking on adventures that include hunting, fishing, walking his dogs, or any other excuse to be out in fresh air.
