Through the generosity of Ann Kenny Carr, the Ann Kenny Carr Cristo Rey Scholarship was established to support one graduate of Cristo Rey Pilsen High School to attend ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Second preference will be given to students who are graduates of other Cristo Rey network high schools in the Chicago region. Third preference will be given to students who are graduates of other Cristo Rey network high schools in the U.S.
Marquette will award the scholarship to one admitted student from Cristo Rey Pilsen High School every four years. The scholarship is a full-tuition award that also provides on-campus housing and food plan support.
Marquette is consistently recognized as a best value in national media such as U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review. But there’s more to a Marquette education beyond a great return on your investment. As a Catholic, Jesuit university, we measure success in the hearts and minds of our students, seeking to engage in them a mindset that looks beyond themselves and toward the benefit of others. Men and women for and with others, as we say in our mission, who go into the world ready to Be The Difference.
