ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's Pre-law Scholars Program allows students to receive the benefits of Marquette's distinctive liberal arts and sciences education while enjoying conditional admission to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Law School.
Pre-law Scholars complete a bachelor's degree and law degree in only six years rather than the seven years customarily required. Pre-law Scholars complete the undergraduate part of their studies in three years and are awarded a bachelor's degree upon successful completion of their first year in the Law School.
Each year, Marquette will enroll up to 25 students in the Pre-law Scholars program. By fulfilling the conditions to remain in the program, Pre-law Scholars will be admitted to the Law School by the end of junior year.
*Applicants applying under the test-optional policy are eligible to apply and will be given equal consideration. The average cumulative unweighted high school GPA for semifinalists was 3.75.
Marquette is consistently recognized as a best value in national media such as U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review. But there’s more to a Marquette education beyond a great return on your investment. As a Catholic, Jesuit university, we measure success in the hearts and minds of our students, seeking to engage in them a mindset that looks beyond themselves and toward the benefit of others. Men and women for and with others, as we say in our mission, who go into the world ready to Be The Difference.
