Cadet Schedule and Training

Leadership development that lasts a lifetime

Army ROTC is an elective curriculum you take along with your required college classes. It prepares you with the tools, training and experiences that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. Along with great leadership training, Army ROTC can pay for your college tuition, too. You can participate your freshman and sophomore year without any obligation to join the Army. You will have a normal college student experience like everyone else on campus, but when you graduate, you will be an Officer in the Army.

The Golden Eagle Battalion is hosted by ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, but cadets are able to participate in ROTC through our partnership schools.

There are many different training opportunities afforded to ROTC cadets. The most frequent ones are physical training, classroom instruction, and leadership labs that occur weekly.

  • Physical training ensure introduces cadets to the Army's physical fitness style and ensure that they are in excellent shape.
  • Weekly classroom instructions provide cadets with a base knowledge of Army terminology, initially, and delves deeper into tactics and military law as a cadet reaches their senior years.
  • Leadership labs allow cadets to hone their skills in the art of leadership and the science of warfare.
  • Field training exercises are outstanding opportunities where cadets can train at the outstanding and unique facilities of Fort McCoy for a Weekend.
