Student Organizations

At Ӱ's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, we value leadership, innovation, teamwork and service. One of the main ways students can promote these ideals is by joining an honor society or other student organizations. Below, you will find a list of student organizations, as well as a link containing brief information about the history of the organization and how to get involved.

Distinguished students are invited to join IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN), the honor society of IEEE, which encourages and recognizes individual excellence in education and meritorious work, in professional practice, and in any of the areas within the IEEE-designated fields of interest.

The Marquette Robotics Club is designed for any student, not just engineering majors, who are interested in learning more about robotics. Even if you have no experience in the field, we encourage you to come to our meetings and learn with us! The majority of the skills that you will be using are CAD (Computer Aided Design), programming, and electrical design.

In Fall 2020, we will be continuing where we left off with our first ever robotics project. When we left off this Spring, we were working on an industrial-style robotic arm with computer vision capabilities. We are working with Raspberry Pi, Arduino Uno, motors, CAD, and Google AIY Vision.
