FEATUREDSTORY
Behind a beloved fixture of Christmastime on campus is a deeper meaning — the faithful
honoring of a tragic loss from more than 30 years ago.
IGNATIAN MOMENT
With the Advent season right around the corner, the Office of Mission and Ministry,
Campus Ministry and the university have many events for students to celebrate.
TALK WITH YOUR STUDENT
The end of the semester is quickly approaching, with final exams, papers and projects
on our students’ minds. Check in during this stressful period, and make sure your
student knows what they’ll need to bring home over winter break. Don’t forget important
medications, special clothes for holiday events, contact lenses, passports and athletic
gear. The residence halls will be locked at noon on Saturday Dec. 16, and will not
reopen until Jan. 14.
Winter break is an excellent time for our students to rest and recharge. It’s also
an opportunity for reflection and a chance to connect with your student. If they are
looking to get engaged and connected with others, it isn’t too late to sign up for spring engagement opportunities!
