HMA DNA: Collection Highlights
The Haggerty Museum of Art’s institutional genetic code is formed by a collection of over 6,000 works of art created from the Renaissance period to the present. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ began to acquire works of art shortly after it was founded in 1881. These early collecting efforts laid the foundation for what would become, over a century later, the collection of the Haggerty Museum of Art. This exhibition presents a selection of the Haggerty’s most celebrated works of art.
This exhibition, HMA DNA: Collection Highlights, is supported in part by a grant from the Milwaukee Arts Board and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
