Chris Woleske, Law ’94, was elected to the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Board of Trustees in 2020.
She is the executive vice president of Bellin and Gundersen Health System and the Bellin Region president. She joined Bellin in 1998 and served in many leadership roles including general counsel, chief operating officer, and ultimately was appointed president and chief executive officer of Bellin Health in 2018. In 2022, when Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System merged, she took on her current role.
As a member of the executive leadership team, she is responsible for strategic and operational execution of key initiatives. Before joining Bellin Health, Woleske practiced law at Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak and Jerry in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and was an owner and manager of a small family business.
Woleske is the past chair of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation Board and has been honored for her leadership and commitment to the community. She is a recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Athena Award (2017), the Wisconsin Chapter of the Harvard Business School Leader of the Year Award (2021), Marquette Law Alumna of the Year Award (2022), and the Green Bay Rotary Free Enterprise Award (2022). She is currently a member of the boards of directors of the Green Bay Packers, Krueger International Inc. and the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
A graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program, Woleske earned her juris doctor from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Law School and has a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
