Recorded Literature Collection

Marquette Memorial Library has a collection of about 250 spoken-word, long-playing (33 1/3) phonograph records available for checkout. This collection contains poetry, drama, and other literary works. Also included are authors reading their own works and the works of others.

This collection is shelved in a secured area and must be requested by number (the number indicated in the left-hand column on the author, title, or numerical list) from the Media and Reserves Desk, Lower Level of Raynor Library. The recordings are available for check out to Marquette students, faculty and staff for a one week loan period. In addition the library has two portable turntables that also can be checked out for a one week period. In-library listening may be available; contact the Periodicals Desk for more information.
