October 2021—Janice Welburn, dean of University Libraries, retired on October 22, 2021, after 15 years of service to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and more than four decades to the library profession. During her tenure at Marquette, Janice Welburn led Raynor Memorial Libraries through a period of significant change in response to advances in teaching and scholarship by integrating traditions in libraries with new approaches to library services.
