In accordance with the Jesuit tradition of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ of cura personalis, and with the Jesuit ideals reflected in the College of Health Sciences’ of excellence, faith, service, and leadership, the Department of Physician Assistant Studies is dedicated to educating and fostering the development of the individual student for the supervised practice of primary medicine within dynamic health care systems.

Students are exposed to a cutting edge curricula designed to implement leadership and preparation for practicing evidence-based medicine. The program offers an array of learning environments exposing the students to communities rich in diversity, urban settings, and communities designated as health professional shortage areas. While training here, students learn to practice medicine and deliver comprehensive quality healthcare while treating patients with dignity, respect, and compassion.
