Welcome to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology!

Welcome to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology. Out of more than 300 colleges and universities who offer programs in the field, we are grateful that you have chosen ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ to receive your speech language pathology and audiology academic and clinical education. Marquette's focus on the four core values of excellence, faith, leadership and service challenge students to integrate knowledge, faith and leadership in ways that will shape not only your life, but the lives of others.

As an academic unit in the College of Health Sciences, students experience a culture of excellence that includes state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities and many opportunities to interact with faculty scholars and clinicians who are passionate about teaching, research and service. The College's mission as a part of a Catholic, Jesuit University is to provide its graduates with an exceptional education which will in turn transform the world in which they live.

Students in the Department of Speech Pathology frequently expand their education beyond the classroom through service learning, study abroad and research. Through campus organizations and volunteer opportunities, students have the chance to meet new people and gain valuable skills to prepare them for life, personally and professionally, long after graduating from Marquette.

Faculty are dedicated to educating and fostering the development of our students for the skilled, caring and ethical delivery of services whether in schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers or community clinics. The University's location in the heart of the City of Milwaukee provides abundant opportunities for students in a variety of settings.

I wish you success in your academic journey of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist and I know you will enjoy your time here in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology.
