M.S. In Computer and Information Science with Specialization
The M.S. in Computing has changed its name to M.S. in Computer and Information Science.
Our specialization in Information Assurance and Cyber Defense is part of the M.S. degree program. It is designed to establish the knowledge about security planning and management and cyber issues and defenses for networks, databases and computing infrastructure. This specialization is the academic focus for the designation of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by NSA and DHS. The required courses for this specialization reflect the broad technical perspective. While studying theory and performing classroom exercises serve to provide foundational knowledge, practical experience reinforces understanding. Our program requires students to demonstrate their understanding through practical professional experience. Open the following section to see the requirements for this specialization.
