The Center for Engagement and Inclusion is staffed by full-time professionals, graduate assistants, and student program assistants. Undocumented Students
As a Catholic, Jesuit school, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ stands with our undocumented students and is committed to providing accurate information and resources for current and prospective undocumented students, their families, and allies.
In alignment with these efforts, the Center for Engagement and Inclusion serves as a support to the DREAMer Support Committee and serves as a connection the the DREAMers group.

Multicultural Student Council Mission
The mission of the Multicultural Student Council (MSC) is to unite the multicultural student body by providing a space that encourages event collaborations across intersecting identities. This council aims to create a sense of belonging within multicultural students by providing them with the resources needed to effect change within their communities. MSC aims to accomplish the following:
- MSC aims to bridge the gap between faculty, staff, and students by creating a safe space for students to directly express their problems and concerns.
- MSC aims to facilitate action based social justice initiatives within the Marquette community.

Justice in Action Conference
An annual conference focused on advocacy skill development and education on social justice issues. This one-day conference will help you explore your role in affecting social change, especially in the context of a Jesuit institution.
- Who should attend?
- Everyone is welcome! If you have been involved in service, if you care about inequality, if you want Marquette to be an inclusive community, care about our Jesuit mission, if you are an experienced activist, or if you just want to learn more —Join us! Students of all levels are welcome, including graduate students.
- What does the conference cost?
- Thanks to MUSG and many other student orgs and several MU departments and offices, the conference is free and includes a gift bag and lunch for the first 100 participants. Your commitment and participation is payment!

RISE
RISE is a free and unique multicultural pre-orientation program for underrepresented first-year students. RISE is hosted by the Office of Engagement and Inclusion with tremendous support from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and the Division of Student Affairs.
Offerings
- A first opportunity establish connections and networks with faculty, staff, and peers.
- Sessions to ask questions and learn more about how to survive and thrive during freshman year.
- An atmosphere that promotes positive attitudes and stimulates a vibrant learning environment.
- An exclusive cultural and historical tour through Milwaukee’s neighborhoods.
- Supportive relationships and constructive feedback to help students make well-informed decisions.
