Intensive English Programs

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ does not offer a full-time intensive English language program. However, the following programs offer full-time study in English in the Milwaukee area. They typically prepare adults who are interested in increasing their English proficiency so that they can enter a U.S. university.

    This program has six levels of English instruction ranging from beginners to advanced. They have classes offered during the day, evenings, and Saturday mornings offered at 4 different campus locations throughout the Milwaukee area.

    The Milwaukee Public Library has many ESL books and audio-visual resources that you can borrow once you get a library card. To obtain a library card, you will need to provide two forms of identification (driver’s license, utility bill, recently postmarked mail, etc.) showing your name and current address in Milwaukee County.

Community-based ESL Tutoring Services

These community-based organizations generally offer one-on-one or small group tutoring to adults who are learning English. They help adults improve their English literacy skills so that they can function better within American society. The services are usually free or cost a small fee.
