  • Dr. Jaime Hernandez (PI) has received a 1-year award in collaboration with Dr. , Research Scientist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for the project, “R27-252: Impact of Commercial Electric Vehicles on Flexible Pavement Performance.”  The sponsor is the Illinois Center for Transportation.  The total award is $412,500 and the Marquette portion is $120,000. (July 2022)
  • Dr. Yong Bai (PI) has received a 6-month NSF grant in the amount of $50,000 for the project, “I-Corps: Automated As-is Facade Modeling of High-rise Buildings Using Drones and Artificial Intelligence.” (May 2022)
  • Dr. Dan Zitomer (PI) has received a 1-year $50,000 award from the Lafferty Family Foundation for the project titled “Fundamental Anaerobic Biotech Improvement for Waste Treatment and Renewable Energy.” (April 2022)
  • Dr. Anthony Parolari (PI), along with Drs. Brooke Mayer (Co-PI) and Allison Murray (Co-PI), have received a 1-year $50,000 award from the Lafferty Family Foundation for the project titled “Synthetic infiltration and nutrient treatment media for stormwater management.” (April 2022)
