Thank you for considering ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ for your next meeting or event.

Non-University group events are welcome to utilize a select number of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ campus facilities when they are not hosted by a University department or a recognized and approved student organization. Non-University Events are defined as programs and activities organized by alumni, individuals, groups, businesses, or organizations not included in the organizational structure of the University. Examples include: weddings, receptions, charity events, corporate meetings and events, youth camps, conferences, social activities, exhibition, etc. Non-University Facility Rental and Equipment Rates will apply.

All requests for space from Non-University groups are coordinated through the Alumni Memorial Union Event Services Office. For Alumni Memorial Union, Varsity Theatre, Weasler Auditorium and select academic space consideration, please complete our .

Note: Space requests remain pending until you receive an email confirmation from the AMU Event Services Office. Please do not publicize your event until you have received official space confirmation.

The selections below will give you the opportunity to consider reservable space options, request space, learn about catering options, view rate guides and select resources or policies that pertain to your event.

Reservable Spaces

The Alumni Memorial Union is located at 1442 West Wisconsin Avenue and is considered by many as the heartbeat of campus. The Alumni Memorial Union "AMU" facilities include the Union Sports Annex, Varsity Theatre and Weasler Auditorium and offer:

  • 17 meetings rooms
  • 10,000 square foot Monaghan Grand Ballroom (divisible into five separate spaces)
  • 1,050 seat capacity Varsity Theatre
  • 500 seat capacity Weasler Auditorium
  • State of the art audio/visual equipment
  • Variety of dining options including a cafeteria, coffee shop, Innovation Kitchen,  full service dining room and Union Sports Annex WOW Wingery
  • Services in the AMU including contract postal station, full service bank including two ATM machines and the The Marquette Spirit Shop.

Alumni Memorial Union Facilities

Reserve Space

Space reservations are accepted from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To make a reservation, call us at (414) 288-0628.  Requests from off campus campus groups may also be made .

Your reservation remains tentative until you provide us with all setup information and obtain any necessary approvals. As soon as you do, we will send you a written confirmation. All reservations are subject to university operating and rental policies.

Off campus groups will be required to sign a ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Space Agreement and provide a 75 percent down payment on the space to confirm it.

To ensure space availability, make your reservations early. Reservations are subject to space, room and equipment availability. Room assignments are subject to change.

The Alumni Memorial Union Event Services team is available to assist with all of your room, equipment and catering needs. Sodexo Dining Services is the preferred provider for catering at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. We invite you to visit the Catering site to view the MCity Catering Guide as well as all of their Guides designed to make your next catered event one of a kind.

Union Sports Annex Restaurant and Bowling Center

The Union Sports Annex is the premier entertainment facility in the heart of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ campus and is available for your next special event. Located on 16th and Wells Streets this 24,000 square foot complex includes a bowling center, sport court and full service restaurant.

The Annex houses an impressive array of Marquette memorabilia. The rich Marquette tradition is everywhere, while dozens of flat screen televisions and free WI Fi keep you up to date in the present.

The bowling center can be reserved by the alley or the entire center, call the Alumni Memorial Union Event Services Office at (414) 288-7202 for scheduling.

Capacity limits in the Union Sports Annex vary depending on the programming space. In general, the following would apply:

Bowling Center, capacity of 100
Court, standing capacity of 300, capacity of guests seated at round tables is 150
Restaurant, capacity of 100
Overall building capacity is 700
