Required Training Courses for Students
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ is committed to providing an educational community where people can thrive. Doing this means developing a shared understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion and helping students think critically about their wellness and personal safety. Thus, incoming students engage in the trainings outlined below.
Failure to complete these courses will result in a hold being placed on registration for spring 2025 classes.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ has partnered with Vector Solutions Safe Colleges whose mission is to help students address critical life skills such as personal safety and well-being, diversity and inclusion, alcohol and other drug abuse prevention, and sexual assault prevention in higher education institutions across the country.
We ask that all first-year and transfer students complete these important educational courses. All course are open and due August 26, 2024.
As individuals for and with others, we are called to take personal responsibility for our wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. The courses are three modules, alcohol and other drugs, sexual violence prevention, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. These courses will  provide you with information to empower you to make well-informed decisions about life on campus, off campus, and in the greater community.  
The courses are now open, so please begin the course and complete prior to New Student Orientation.
Course Details:
Alcohol and Other Drugs  — This course will empower you to make well-informed decisions about alcohol and other drugs and will help you to reflect on and consider college drinking related issues.
Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates — Learn about healthy relationships, the importance of consent and being a good communicator, and the many ways you can help create the safe, positive campus you want to be a part of.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Students — This course will provide you with powerful and effective diversity and inclusion learning to increase inclusive language, attitudes, and behaviors to treat all members of the campus community with care and respect.
