Meet the panelists

Lennard Boholst is a junior majoring in Economics, and currently serves as the President of the Bayanihan Student Organization, Marquette’s Filipino Cultural organization. Born and raised in Cebu, Philippines, he also grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, an experience that both strengthened his Filipino identity and developed his appreciation for diversity. As President of BSO, he hopes to continue BSO’s long-running success at Marquette. He also hopes to ensure that BSO remains steadfast in its vision to both celebrate Filipino culture and identity, and build a strong, meaningful, and welcoming community. In his (little) free time, Lennard enjoys playing piano and catching up on all the shows and movies he’s constantly missing out on.

Darrell K. Campbell, Jr., a Milwaukee native, is a Senior at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ double majoring in Criminology and Law Studies & Social Justice and Welfare. Darrell accepted the call to leadership at an early age; having been a student leader since his early school days from middle school to now. Darrell has been serving the Marquette and Greater Milwaukee community for the last 4 years in many capacities, from being the past Vice President of the Urban Scholars program, the FIRST Student Director of Inclusive Initiatives for the Office of New Student and Family Programs, a founding facilitator/organizer for Marquette's Black & Brown Get Downs, co-chair for Marquette's Ebony Ball 2023, 22-24 Treasurer for Marquette's NPHC; Darrell knows what it takes to be a true SERVANT leader and embodies what it means when Marquette says to "Be the Difference". Darrell is a proud member of the first black intercollegiate fraternity-Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, having served in various roles in his chapter (Epsilon Tau) such as President, Vice-President, and Treasurer as well as various roles within the fraternity on a local, district, and regional level - Darrell notes that Alpha has truly shaped him to be a better leader and to always strive for excellence in service, brotherhood, and advocacy for his community. Darrell's favorite quote comes from the Poem "House of Alpha" and it simply states "Tired Moments find me a delightful treat" this quote encourages Darrell to push forward and persevere every day as he continues to serve Marquette & the Greater Milwaukee community.

Veronica Castro Ramirez will graduate from Marquette in 2025 with a degree in Public Relations and Marketing. She is an officer in Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee.

Jasmine Scott is majoring in psychology at Marquette. She is president of Black Mindz, of which she is a founding member. She also serves as a Peer Wellness Educator, is an Urban Scholar, and is in the Honors Program.
